The event is a linear course starting in Otford and finishing in Bundeena – so we don’t recommend driving to the start line! Most runners travel by train to the start line and use the free event shuttle buses to return to Sutherland Station after the event.

The event centre is at Otford Public School, and the start line is on Station Street adjacent to the school. Station Street is closed to traffic on event morning.

The finish line is at Bundeena Reserve on Loftus Street. Parking in Bundeena is limited, but can be found on nearby streets.

Bundeena is a beautiful little township with 4 beaches, parks and coffee shops. There’s no need to rush away — there is some great relaxation to be had, and options for all the family to enjoy this slice of paradise.

You can leave your gear with us and we will transport it to the finish line for you. You will need to supply your own bag for the bag drop service. Bag labels to mark up your bag with your race number will be available at the start line. We will not be responsible for individual pieces of clothing that go missing because it was not properly stowed (i.e. in a labelled bag).

There is no parking at the Event Centre, as Station Road will be closed for the start of the event. Instead we encourage you to arrive by rail at Otford. There is good parking and connections from Sydney, Sutherland, or Cronulla. There is very limited parking in Otford, but runner drop offs are possible.

The event start of 8:45am has been scheduled around the train time tables.

• Southbound Train: Departs Central at 06.29am, Sutherland at 07.00am before arriving at Otford at 07.28am.
• Northbound Train: Departs Wollongong at 06.40am, Thirroul at 06.51am before arriving at Otford at 07.15am.

We will then provide free bus shuttle services for participants to travel back from Bundeena to Sutherland Station starting from 11.00am onwards in 30 minute increments, where regular train services run to both Cronulla and Central Station. Alternatively you can catch the ferry to Cronulla from the Bundeena Ferry Terminal which is located just down the hill from the finish line.

Spectators are welcome at the finish area only (not the start line due to limited parking and space). You will be able to drive to the Garie and Wattamolla aid stations where you can see the competitors in action. Please note no outside assistance can be provided to runners while on the course. Breaking of this rule will result in the disqualification of the runner in question.
